Codrington College theological college is a good way to spend an afternoon, wandering around its tropical gardens.
There are a number of beaches along the coastline, St Martins Bay in Bath being one of the nicest and safest, take the family and have a picnic. If you did not prepare a picnic then travel onto Lemon Arbor, one of the best Rum Shops on the island. Chill with a drink and some good home cooked food and dont be afraid to lime with the locals. |
Driving in Barbados is easy, though they do drive on the left, but please remember that on most roads there are no pavements (sidewalks) so please be aware of pedestrians or cyclists and also be aware that some houses face directly onto the road, the owners of which could step out straight onto on coming traffic.
