Parish of St George Barbados

Gun Hill Signal Station was one of six build by the British, enabling messages to be passed around the island in an instant.  The view from the station opens out the whole of the south coast, from Bridgetown on the west to Ragged Point on the east coast.  Below the station is a white carved lion, standing 10ft tall, carved by a British officer in the 1800s

St George

This is the other land locked parish on Barbados, though no beaches it still has a number of attractions.
