Parish of St Lucy Barbados

 

St Lucy - Northern most parish 

The main attraction in this parish is The Aminal Flower Cave, a cavern of Sea Anemones. 

Nearby is also a spectacular view of the rugged coast line at North Point and if you are lucky you may see those hardened surfers battling  the strong waves that smash against the rocks.

St Lucy also has one of the only three working lighthouses on the island.


 

Other than North Point St Lucy does not have more to offer but is still worth a drive around.



 

If you are hiring a car and intend to tour the island, dont worry if you get lost because I would always say " your not lost, your just not sure where you are".  My advice if its your first visit to Barbados, is take an organised taxi tour of the island before you intend to drive around.  This will give you a better sense of where the various attractions are, then you can jump in your car and explore.
